    Hi

I found an old VC3 hidden away in a cupboard from many years ago.

    On the back it reads: VC3 PRO Channel V2.02 (VC3 3398 0043).

I haven’t found the AC adapter for it yet, and I was wondering what the specs for the adapter are and what it would have physically looked like, as I am sure I have it somewhere.

    Thanks

    Adi

Ha! That’s a very special VC3! We made just 2 or 3 of those painted yellow for a professional audio show in the US. That must have been in about 1981.

It’s probably worth a lot more than the original price!

The spec of the power supply is simply 12 volts AC. The supply should be capable of 300 milliamps or more, so any 12VAC supply will be OK. :)

    Hi Ted,

It was a long time ago… Had no idea it was rare…

Strange how it made it here from US. I’m sure I bought it new from someone in London, can’t remember who exactly but maybe someone like DV or Turnkey.

It was only used for a short while then ended up in a storage box for years with other stuff that is now kinda vintage like DMT8, SC88PRO, JV1010, SG01, SE70 etc…

Do you have a picture of how the original adapter looks, I went through a box of adapters but couldn’t find it there.

Whats the chance of getting hold of an original 12V adapter?

Can it really be 38 years ago!!! 😮

    Thanks

    Adi…
