I just got hold of a Joemeek SC4 and it’s got a horrible hum. I took it to a tech I know, twice, and both times he assured me it’s got something to do with the way I’m hooking it up. I’ve tried different cables coming out of it, going to different things (including headphones), and running the power to different sockets in my house as well as the usual Furman power conditioner I use, and I can’t get rid of the hum.
It may be the power in my house, but who can say for sure? None of my other studio gear has this issue, so I’m inclined to believe it’s the actual unit.
Any help you can provide is definitely appreciated!
