calibrating a P5

Hi Ted.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to calibrate the levels of the stereo channel on my P5? At the moment there is a 2dB difference in level between channels 1 and 2. Is there something i can adjust internally to calibrate it?

Hi Doug,

There’s no variable presets on the P5; the discrepancy is most likely to be a degree of wear on the input and/or output pots. If the problem is purely during compression (this is not clear from your message) then this can be adjusted by very small adjustments of the LEDs, moving them closer or further away from the opto cells. The spacing is very critical.
