Alice 828 MKI (first version) Master section schematic

Hello Ted,

How have you been doing?

I’m repairing my (Alice 828 first version) desk and I see that the master section is all discrete and different from the schematics I have that show 2 IC’s for each stereo side , one before and one after the Limiter circuit. The schematics I have should be for the 828 MKII mixer , the one that has a 5534 IC in the preamp section.

My console has Belclere input transformers, a discrete Mic Pre and there only one IC (741) in the Mid Freq EQ.

I would like to ask you if you have schematics for the Master section of the first version of 828 consoles, or where could I buy them.

I do have a partial cct diagram of the group section; email me on [email protected] and I will email it to you.

Unfortunately, it’s not complete…. I must take my own 828S to pieces one day and trace the circuit!!
