I have noticed that the VC1qcs compress more the medium and high than the low frequencies

There is a some filter on the side chain detector? It is possible to modify? Or access externally to it?

    Thanks.

It’s true there is a High-pass filter in the sidechain. This is to avoid low frequency ‘pumping’ effects. You can play with it of course (the TFPRO P38EX has access to the sidechain for this purpose) but I would advise against it! The filter adds to the specific compression sound of these compressors. :?

could you show me what component modify in order to change the filter, variable would be nice, any schematics?

    thanks.

Perhaps I don’t have your correct email…… send me an email at [email protected] and I will reply with the circuits :(
