I have just placed orders for printed circuit boards for a short production run of P28 version 8 ‘Legacy’ (V8.02) compressors.

This is a variant of the P38, a stereo mastering compressor with a hard-wired by-pass switch and using the original opto devices.

It goes back to the days when the compressor is so easy to use, it’s very difficult to make it sound bad; but unlike the very early stereo compressors, it has variable ratio and variable stereo width, and still with a compressed sound that’s beyond the ability of plug-ins.
